Emmanuel: Our Ever-Present Counsellor and Peace

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6. His name is Emmanuel - to be with you; Counsellor - to provide wisdom for your toughest decision. Prince of Peace - to heal a relationship that you thought was beyond repair. Yes, and He’s no longer in the manger, He is no longer on the cross, but He’s now at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you and me. Think of it: He had yours and my best interest in mind.
