Extending the Gift of Amazing Grace

“So what’s so amazing about grace?” A question asked by Winnipeg Free Press columnist Karen Toole. Ephesians 2:8, 9 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” That’s great news! What isn’t great news is that we who have claimed to have experienced this grace have a problem extending it to our fellow man. As this quote from Karen’s article says, how rare to find a church competing to out-grace its rivals. “Grace is Christianity’s best gift to the world, a spiritual nova in our midst exerting a force stronger than vengeance, stronger than racism, stronger than hate.”
