Perseverance and the Wisdom of the Hive

Two brothers throwing rocks at bee hives. The owner catches them in the act and calmly asks them to put on a bee-keepers veil and offers to teach them all about bees. It starts a fascination with bee-keeping. Later, as adults, they purchase a farm with an apiary. They struggle and the banker says, “forget it, sell out now.” Their response?: “When someone says you are going to fail you just try harder”----just try harder and they did. Now they are immensely successful. The Bible says, “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.” Proverbs 6:6.
