Transforming Crisis into Opportunity

There are two symbols for the word “crisis” in the Chinese language. One means “danger” and the other means “opportunity.” When we meet a crisis in our lives will we see it as an opportunity or will it become an insurmountable obstacle to us? If we have Christ in our hearts we can claim the truth of the Scripture which says, “if God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31. “For when the enemy shall come in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19 R.S.V. “For we know we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” Romans 8:37. In every crisis a great opportunity awaits us. Therefore let us all take heart.
