Refusing Defeatist Thoughts

“Messier won't abide defeatist thoughts.” That was a headline in the Winnipeg Free Press during the 1995 Stanley Cup playoffs. This attitude was instrumental in helping the New York rangers win the second game of the Eastern Conference semi-final.
